Cigliuti Dolcetto d'Alba

Medium purple color. Still very young and primary. Felt a bit muted throughout the tasting. Blackberry, dark cherry, fresh herbs, violets and cacao. Medium bodied with some drying tannins and a bit lowish acidity. Ripe black fruit, violets and fresh herbs. A bit one-dimensional and lacks acidity to get that really fresh and sappy mouthfeel. Maybe needs a year or so to come together.
