Plush and sumptuous, there is a nice sense of balance here for the style of wine. The oak is a bit too spicy for my palate personally but this should have many admirers. Day 2: oak is far more integrated on day 2 and much more enjoyable. Still a bit too rich and spicy for me but better.

Light golden in the glass with a nose that lead with oak, but backed up with lime, lemon, and green apple. On the palate there’s lemon, pear, apple, nicely integrated oak, and some minerality. The acidity isn’t overwhelming and the mouthfeel is smooth.
