Well kept and aged, but not very complex and tapered off significantly after more time open.

Absolutely amazing length, beats any Bordeaux grand cru I had so far. Leather, spices, white pepper on nose and palate, complex fruit. Very elegant and subtle.

Quick decant, very approachable, went great with Lasagna, good fruit on the nose and palate, tannins mostly resolved, drinking nicely, not sure if this gets any better with age, decent QPR at $40

Light ruby colour. Nice nose, rounder than I would expect on the palate, once there is some acidity there. The finish was quite nice as well. Ready to drink.

in a good drinking spot fruit earth and length in balance with a small decant a slight hint of cherry and vanilla gave it a new world lean

Rose, tar and overwhelming liquorice. Huge tannis, not very balanced right now , surely needs a few more years.

Once again I get so disappointed by the Barolo district compared to the price. This wine on sale costs 120 Dkr (normal 235), and how disappointing thin in taste, but I should have known better.... Do not buy again - not even on sale Can anyone point me to a decent Barolo below 300 DKR??

Lidt umoden træ i duften der forstærkes efter lidt tid. God til prisen kr. 100. Vil sikkert blive lidt bedre med tiden. Men mangler en smule dybde til virkelig blive bedre.

A fairly dark nebbiolo. Quite shy on the nose, even after 40 minutes in the glass. The palate did not do much more. It had a bit of fruit, mainly black, but not as complex as I had hoped. The structure of barbaresco was not there, and this wine could have been made anywhere. It is well made and has some length, but absolutely no personality or real character. All in all a pleasant wine, which I will never return …

New Year's Eve dinner at home with Mom, Steve & Barb. A good solid and tight cork seemed promising for this wine that was to be the centerpiece of the evening, but alas, it was not to be. Poured with the color of dirty brown water, this wine was totally oxidized.
