Showing marked improvement from previous bottles. Aged profile though plenty of effervescence remains. Apple, cinnamon, citrus zest, mushroom. Very elegant.

A memorable Champagne with typical Blanc de Blancs notes of rock, light fruit with subtle and well-balanced red ones. The finish was the kicker. Funky, but EXCELLENT funkiness, and long. Ayala, to me, is a very consistent high-level Champagne producer. Enjoy!

Great champagne. In the beginning loads of fresh yeast, brioche and white flowers. Needs some time to open up. Drank over a couple of hours, the wine opens up and reveals new layers and complexity. Dry Medium/full bodied Not so fruit driven Could probably gain some by having further aged in cellar Definitely a recommendation

Had with seafood at the water grill. Paired very nicely with many dishes. No detailed notes but I remember moderate mousse, good acidity, prominent citrus pith and zest.

I was shocked by how quickly this opens up with a bit of air- at once clean lemon citrus with a white peppery note on top quickly gives way to more rich, riper flavors with exuberant body and fat with a creamy midpalate that offsets the prominent acidity today. This has lots of upside but already shows evident density and depth today. Would love to compare to the 2015 vintage (side by side) in a couple of years and see …

Prince Wine Store – Annual Champagne Tasting 2024 (Prince Wine Store) : Owned by Bollinger. All in stainless steel. Brioche heavy, big mousse, bready and a little spicy on the palate. Citrus, grapefruit, quite smooth, some alcohol heat but not bad.

Marmite on the nose, lemon meringue pie FIne bubbles, creamy, hazelnuts Very long. Excellent wine. £65 isn't a lot to pay for a wine this good.

Un buon champagne ad un prezzo decente. Non ha la leggerezza di un Heidsieck base, è abbastanza "largo", pomposo, leggermente grasso. Mi ha picchiato un po' in testa.

Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of light gold colour, with medium consistent bubbles and legs. Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of apple and pear, floral notes of acacia, sweet spice of ginger, mineral notes of steely, autolytic notes of biscuit. The wine is developing. Palate: Dry with high acidity, the wine medium (-) alcohol, medium (-) body, with medium (+) intensity flavours of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit …

This was really good! So aromatic and elegant, with substantial extract and a nice aftertaste. Quite acidic though. Definitely, a baby kill - wait some 5-10 years.

Vintus Trip preceeded by 2 days in Paris; 4/14/2023-4/20/2023 : The aromas are of INTENSE minerality. Like sneezing while drinking mineral h2o. A bit more of a fresh butter note than the previous wines. All Cotes de Blanc - Cuis, Cremat, Oger... 6yrs on lees, 5g/l. 'Fresh butter, fresh almond'. Overall more dynamic and a character driven wine. Light floral notes and modestly potpourri.
