(13.7%) My 3rd bottle (from a case I won in a fundraiser auction) and I remember my previous bottles as being over oaked (granted I’m sensitive). While it is still heavy here this is starting to smooth out with nice cranberry fruit and cedar notes joined by a pleasant acidity that leads to a light tangy, tannic finish. Seems to be entering a nice drinking window. Certainly my best yet…

Cranberry, black cherry nose. Bramble fruit with hints of vine and toffee. Palate slightly styptic, long. Youthful, vibrant. @FLXbistro
