The wines of Canale's Matteo Correggia with Brigitta Correggia (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR) : Incredibly dark in color. This offered some dark notes on the nose, with vibrant aromas but not overpowering in strength. Rich and smooth. Rich palate with soft, light texture. Puckering and mellow. Moderate to light acid for a Barbera on the finish, which is very smooth. A nice quaffer, but really no more.

No Detailed notes - Drank over two days. Nice blue fruits, some mineral. Fairly plush wine while remaining balanced and restrained. As could be expected, it is a fairly simple affair. Straightforward and easy going, nice wine.

Dark purple color. Dark red berries and earth on the nose. Quite light-bodied with spicy red fruits on the palate. Decent finish.
