not from Piedmont but from Lombardy. Farther north, in the Alps. A very pale ruby color. A wonderful expression of the pure Nebbiolo grape, more aromatic and perfumed. 13.5% abv. I really enjoyed this and would highly recommend it.

Smell of wet forest floor, soice and cherry. Nice taste of tart cherry. Really good value for the price and great for a Sunday Italian dinner.

Medium(-) ruby, translucent, watery rim @13% abv. Upon opening a closed nose of red fruit, vanilla notes. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium supple tannin, medium alcohol and ditto body. Palate of red cherry, red berry, maraschino cherry, and savory notes in the back palate. Tightly structured, good length with focused slightly puckering bitter-sweet finish. Excellent with food.
