Strangely almost no nose. Still has light acidic aftertaste. I bought a 6 pack 6 years ago at auction for $29 . I think this is my last bottle. Great wine that has changed over the years. Now with light fruit and lemon aftertaste.

Developing great flavours but still running an overdose of citrus acids.

It is a value for money chardonnay in a good way but not wow. Nose has notes of stone fruits, especially grapefruit, nectarine and yellow peach with a touch of vanilla and nuttiness. Body lacked complexity and depth and somewhat insipid but for its price, it is more than acceptable. Finish was citrus and slates and quite long. Reasonable yumminess factor. Drink now or 2+ years.

Better than the last bottle! A fresh aftertaste. Oak nose. 14 % alcohol. Mineral flavours. Great wine getting better with age.

Sometimes less is more. The quietest voice can be the loudest. And so it is with this wine. Not overly interested in immediate gratification: quite happy to wait longer for two rewards instead of one now. Leaving just enough to the imagination, definitely seductive with smokey reduction and struck match. White Burgundy via the Pyrenees (Western Victoria). A somewhat surprising 14% ABV.

Nice balance. The fruit is pronounced, the acidity is fine and restrained. There is good oak which makes the wine nicely integrated. Still drinking well. Has another 3 to 5 years at least.

Strong Chardonnay characteristics of stone fruit and nectars, however the window for drinking this wine is now. I am not confident that the bottle I had this evening would have more than a year left init.

{screwcap, 13%} Mid-yellow - looking its age. Developing nose of cashews, light cedar/woodspice, and a mineral/stoney note. The palate is light-medium bodied, clean and fresh, with a little nutty/leesy character setting off the medium acid and very soft oak tannins. There's a pungency to the flavours - almost a cheesiness - that keeps changing the way the flavours land on the palate. Excellent presence right along the tongue; this is a classic example of lighter-bodied, lightly-wooded chardonnay which ought to …

Complex and structured with lashings of rich buttery melon and toasty French oak. Fine and very long. Excellent. ED: Had at Cumulus Inc in Melbourne, AU$80.
