This is more like it. Pure harmonious nose, pure velvety palate coating minerality with a long plummy finish. Young but delicious. Lesson learned, for now drink and hold 2011s and 2014s. Hold on 2010s and 2013s.

Clos Roche Blast! : A fantastic Gamay and a nice change of pace from the same varietal from Beaujolais, it shows sweeter than the last bottle I had, more Chambord than fresh raspberry, though with the typical pine bough herbal notes, all focused and united by a crisp tartness.

My last bottle of the last vintage. It was truly delightful and great send off to the end of one of the greatest values in all of wine. No note. Just a hug goodbye. I will miss these wines.

P&p. Fresh, pungent aromas of reddish fruit along the lines of pie cherry with clean, cutting radishy/gingery/spicy/rooty/earthy/smoky/VA/floral accents; becomes more aromatic and expressive with a little air and as it warms a bit from cellar temp, especially more floral. Similar on the palate, super fresh, alive, with good tart cranberrylike acidity, and a surprising level of concentration of fruit, with fairly firm supporting tannins, while staying light in weight and extremely drinkable. Drinking well, but seems cellarable too. Good stuff! …

Well, this is awesome. The most lovely, quintessentially Gamay fruit, sort of a pomegranate + red cherry mix but more than anything it's Gamay, framed by all sorts of forest and earth tones -- really it's like walking through a forest. The extract is lithe and compact but this nevertheless has great intensity through the midpalate, with the both the fruit and foresty tones carrying all the to the finish, which comes with a juicy acidic twist. Ordered off the …

nice, bright rasberry, a little fatter fruit than I had expected, but with lots of acidity to balance.

Raspberry, plum, and a touch of peppery green arugula. Terrific lithe intensity, leading into a mouth-watering tartness that cries out for another sip.

Stinky, earthy, and green on the nose. With dark cherry and sour apples. Soft and juicy, great depth on the palate.
