Intense ruby red, a little bit dark. Nose reveal blackberries and cherries, with also pepper and sweet tobacco flavor. In the mouth there's a little lack in fruity, better with the spiced parts. Poor tannins, it seems this wine is closed to the end of his life. Not so long on persistency. Good sample of Sangiovese.

Nice, vivid ruby red, consistent. Intense, complex and fine at nose: spicy: coffee, tobacco and black pepper. Ripe red fruits, begonia. Dry, alcoholic (13%) and rounded, nice acidity and smooth tannins, medium minerality. Intense, persistent and fine. Medium body. Very nice ending with a balsamic note. Good wine, just lacking a bit of body.

Bien que le nez soit prometteur et très fruité, c'est tellement fondu et évolué que le vin en devient fade et mince. On cherche en vain le côté acidulé du Sangiovese. La structure est quasiment complètement disparue, ce qui en fait un vin qui manque de présence en bouche. À ce stade de son évolution, c'est le bois qui fait l'intérêt de ce vin en amenant de notes torréfiées, vanillées qui pallient un peu à l'absence d'acidité et de substance. …

Very sweetly fruited with a dark undelying note. Tense across the palate, very driven, high strung, I can imagine that would be better day two. Very interesting wine here. Interesting wine at $40.
