Opened and ecanted 1 hr before serving. Mellow tannins with just enough acidity to cut through the smoked brisket it was served with. Probably has another year or two.

Really nice petite sirah. Smooth tannins, nice dark fruit and a long smooth finish -- definitely a good time to drink it.

Very closed and dry out of the bottle with mild tannins. Decanting for about an hour at least has the wine opening up nicely with the tannins mellowing and the dark berry flavors coming through up front and mid pallet.
