Vinrock Grenache

Okay, so conventional wisdom suggests this is past its best. I humbly disagree. Decanted and left open around an hour. Medium ruby colour. Still vibrant with a decent hint of alcohol, bot more, savoury notes earthiness and a smooth length giving leather and red berries. This one was well worth the cellaring.

Still very rich and the alcohol still poking out to some extent although beginning to be masked by fruit sweetness - nice hints of spice and fine powdery tannins with good length and a slightly drying finish - good but not convinced it's a long termer

Decant 90 minutes, leather fruit and spice on the nose, good fleshy fruit and great savoury elements - good length and a nice hit of oak - alcohol is there but just under control - good but not sure where it is going
