Ruby red in color, this wine reveals blackberry, anise and cherry on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with soft tanins. The finish is well balanced with the red fruits and acidity in equal harmony. 14% abv. Purchased for $18US, this is a well made wine that paired wonderfully with my wife and my artisan pizza. Good juicy red fruit with a delicate tannic structure and good balanced acidity. There’s a good spice to it as well. Very good with cheesecake.
