Not quite as rounded as the 2010 vintage, and it may need more time. Still, lots of white and black pepper notes, herbs, red fruit (cranberry and redcurrant) and sanguine notes on the bouquet and palate. Great acidity, good balance. Great with cheese and charcuterie. 89-90.

Nose is a nice balance of dense red fruit, peppery spice, and earth. Medium weight body led by spicy red fruit leads into a length finish with fine tannins and mouthwatering acidity.
