Idol Shiraz Ege Bağları

Discreet bouquet of fruit and hints of spice. Mouth is light-medium bodied, rather hollow and bland. Hint of black pepper. Good freshness. Opened up somewehat with air, but never turned into something balanced or elegant. 'OK' and drinkable wine, nothing more.

Brick colour moving towards brown, slightly dusty. Nose not very expressive, mouth is lacking fruit but has a lot of spice and pepper. A bit harsh at first, became smoother with air. Drinkable wine but with limited pleasure. Probably downhill already, to be consumed urgently.
