Rich, sweet Rhône red with mature tannins. Nice flavourful wine - quite Tuscan in style. Gorgeous garnet colour. Not particularly defined nose, though the empty bottle smells a little Chianti-like. Plenty of sediment. Very enjoyable.

Very earthy/leathery St-Jo. Collob between Chapoutier & 3⭐ chef Yann Alleno. N: Charming, fresh sweet red berries, dark choc, blackcurrant, confected blueberry. P: Med-full, but balanced. Very earthy, with some ripe blackcurrant and black fruit, subtle blueberry, black liquorice, tar, bitter black olive tapenade. Earthy herbs, a little szchezuan pepper. Silky, easy going structure - med- tan (lacking, want more), with a tart, med+ acid uplift to the fruit. F: blackberry, dirt and tart.
