One word - over-extracted!!! High alcohol and jammy fruit made this very hard to drink. Almost no acidity and not much aroma on the nose. Just too much

This wine is always big and robust however I noticed more alcohol on the finish with this bottle. Still enjoyable but this vintage may benefit from additional time in the cellar.

Notes of bark, black currents and old tires. A solid workhorse wine.

Runny, stained tears. Purple in the glass. Strong aroma. Caramel, black fruit. Strong, dry flavor profile. Mostly oak, black fruit, and a hint of pepper. Grippy tannins that drop off quickly. Finish is moderately strong with tannins, blackberry jam, and vanilla / dried chocolate sticking around

This is the first bulk Aussie Shiraz in many years, because it's just not good enough anymore. No need to scribe notes. Need to pay for the good ones. PS Drink The Rainbow! but don't drink this sugar juice!

I am definetly underwhelmed by the Mollydooker 2021 vintage after trying the Carnoval and the Boxer quite some times. This Boxer misses all the XMas flavours I love in this wine (es. the 2017) and has massive heat in the end. I would not recommend anyone to buy this. Keep in mind that I am a big Mollydooker fan! Same with the Carnival of love. I adored previous vintages, but this one? Meh. Or probably it is just a German …

Day 1: Good dark 🍇 grape on the nose and some asphalt/tar. (As is typical with Australian Shiraz, I've learned over time, in my experience.) Nice on the palate. Comes across with good grape, and chocolate primarily. Off to a good start here. Day 2: Again, tar or asphalt on the nose along with some grape. Not sure yet we'll have to taste. OK, very nice coming across the palate with dark fruit first and then immediately chocolate. Good full-bodied …

Day 1. Upon opening very pleasant grape 🍇 fruit flavor on the nose, and that continues onto the palate. Very nice medium dark grape and good balance of tannins, a little bit of green pepper and very smooth in my opinion, I still like these Boxers. A lot.

A bit anonymous opening. The fruit, while dark, is not completely black, and there is plenty of spice. The alcohol is felt on the nose. The alcohol is heavily dominating the palate. Once biting through, the dark fruit profile is pronounced with tannic grip and a bit anonymous finish with only tannins and alcohol. Hard pass.

Decant 24 hours. And probably wait 3-5 years at least.

Great concentration of berries, full of flavors. Full bodied, blueberry+blackcurrant+blackberry, clove, black pepper. Very satisfying. The blackcurrant component gives it just right amount of edge. Best QPR.

high 바디에 medium 탄닌과 드라이하며 적당한 산도가 있는 호주 시리 와인. 3년 숙성되었으나 시음적기라 마시기 편함.

It's been a decade or so since I tried this wine, and it mostly drank how I remember it. Long on fruit and low on character, with gobs of ripe blackberry, raspberry, and milk chocolate leading the way. A healthy dollop of oak weaves in, with a hint of black pepper emerging. There's some heat here, too. Well made for what it is, but not my style.

Paired with lamb shank. I’m not sure about this wine. It has a lovely nose of black fruits and plums. On the palate the fruit is there and the tannins reasonably integrated. However the alcohol is very obtrusive and difficult to get beyond which I think spoils the wine. I wonder whether a few years the cellar may help. I like aging Ozzy wines and may buy a few and be patient.

Popped and poured. Nose of blackberry, black plum, bramble, vanilla and spice. Ripe blackberry, vanilla, bramble and spice on the palate. Very long, layered finish. Dense and bodied. Served with grilled sausage and peppers sandwiches.

My real score for this wine is 92 and I hope it helps to average out the ridiculous 50 score. Enjoying this wine over many vintages. Robust fruit with ample acidity with a long balanced structure. This wine is so big and well balanced that the 16% alcohol is not obtrusive. Found this on sale for $25 and will be buying more for the cellar.

Atypical for this wine. Lighter, less jammy, more elegant than usual vintages. Clean flavors.

Seriously, crap wine. Now the mollydooker shake makes it a bit more entertaining, but I’d rather lick the inside of a gin mill than drink this thing again.
