Fresh and bright, with acidity to balance the modest residual sugar. Fragrant, grapey, but not cloying. Herbal notes, almost garrigue. Orange-basil sorbet?

With was a touch cloudly and spritzed like a moscato in the glass. Aromas are very sweet - candy store and tropical melon. But this is not a sweet wine. The palate dries out with pine and other herbs that reminded me of winter. Ultra long finish. The staying power was impressive with more pine. $25.99 OH retail www.austinbeeman.com
