fresh, lively, peppery and apricot? on the nose. Mineral, pepper and citrus notes to taste. Well balanced acidity with a medium/long finish. My first Gruner Veltliner purchased by chance in Vienna duty free, but I'll be searching out some more with a little forethought.

Nose: Medium intense lemon to grapefruit aromas with subdued spice/greenish notes. Mouth: the fruity start evolves quickly to a long bitterish finish, acids are very present troughout. The relatively high alcohol level manifest itself during the finish and leaves a warm feeling in the mouth.
