Gubinelli Pinot Noir

This has more than come alive and it's ready to drink. Wonderful example of Argentina's pinot noir. Beautiful spice and great lively acidity. Red, blue and black fruit. This is a serious, big time food wine with great structure and full body (14.5% alcohol).

1st vintage bottled. I tasted less than two weeks after bottling. Won't be released for 2-3 years. Very dark maroon, almost dark purple and nearly opaque with a lighter rim. Medium bodied. Significantly softer than I expected at this point for such a tannic, young wine. The alcohol and acid are prominent now. On the nose, truffle, raisining, vanilla, almond and red fruit. On the palate, almond, red fruit and vanilla as the 2nd use French oak is prominent. Pepper …
