Château Puycastaing Blanc

Nice straw yellow color. Aromas of Granny Smith apples and lemon grass with a little floral element. Upfront there is a hit of tart green apples that transitions to nice mid-palate acid. The acid quickly disappears in the very disappointing lack of finish. It did pair nicely with the foil wrapped baked tilapia with couscous with had for dinner. This was a one note Graves. I've had much better sauvignon blanc/sémillon blends from Bergerac.
