The cork was fragmented beyond words. The color is fully developed orange/brick red and cork bits aside, rather clear. The nose was clean at first, the intensity started at med and as time went by it got to med+. The profile was fully developed of course, with red cherry, tomato, cinnamon and nutmeg, sweet oak, thyme, olive and coffee notes. Wine-Pages.com Italian Wines Offline (Harts Restaurant, Nottingham) : A slightly stinky, reductive nose feeling old and past it. A bit better on the palate than on the nose. Alive but old. There's some red fruit stilll there, but lots of old tired tannins.
