NW Vine Project Chardonnay Highway 14 Celilo Vineyard

This was interesting and generally pretty pleasant. While crisp and refreshing there was a nice richness from the viognier. There was a slightly harsh edge to this however.

This was intrestig for the first half of a glass, yet soon enough the odd combo of viognier and chard made it hard to continue. I'll pawn it off on company for Thanksgiving!

not swill, but wouldn't of paid $15 for it if I'd known this is what I'd get.

Consistent with prior note. No real Celilo terrior. Would not of purchased this wine if I had known it was adulterated by voigner to this degree.

i liked this, i thought it was crisp but still not puckery- good light fruit. I also wondered about a hint of oak although the previous reviewers shout out about the viogner makes sense

Pale gold. Nose of pears and honeysuckle, with a hint of anise. Reading the back lable, I find viogner has been added (WTF?) to the blend. Not to my preference, as I think it obscures the terrior. Vaguely disspointed by this wine, as I was hoping for Celilo terrior. This wine hints at the Celilo signature, but obscures it with the viogner. Almost smells and tastes like the wine is oaked, but I suspect that is the ripe viogner signature. …
