Curiosamente esta garrafa estava com rolha sintética de cor rosa, ao contrário de garrafas consumidas da mesma safra. Ao abrir a garrafa notei aromas não muito agradáveis que foram se dissipando no decanter e na taça. Está evidentemente iniciando declínio, mas ainda muito agradável. Em boca tem taninos muito macios com boa estrutura e volume. Esta garrafa tinha aromas oxidativos aliados às belas notas de frutas secas tais como figo.

Red fruit, plum and baking spice are layered over stone dust minerality and tannin. Pleasant but not overly complicated wine that is a fine companion with food thanks in part to good acidity. Core of the mid-palate is not particularly focused but provides an open-knot structure with an adequate finish accompanied by a little heat. Taken together this is a very good wine with some redeeming qualities whose presence could be enhanced by greater balance. Fine but not memorable. @bruisedpalate

- Brick color with medium forming legs. It's balanced and has flavours of phenolic with a medium body. Round texture with a short finish - Very nice drinkable cab

- Crimsom color and aromas of eucalyptus and black currant. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of dusty, bell pepper and eucalyptus with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish - Smooth daily drinker. Slightly high in green tannins. Fairly enjoyable.
