Bought on release. Perfect cork. Red and terra cotta color. Aromatic profile evolved over two hours, mostly primary but a typical cedary graphite nose, and then roses. Medium full, expressive, bright, red fruit, spice and tart on the finish. Good length and purity. Held for two hours without fading. No hint of mushroom or secondary. Very nice cab.

Starting to fade. Decanted for 2 hours, subduing the alcohol and smoothing out the mustiness. Drink up!

Mint, juniper berry, underbrush, sweet cassis nose. Good color and good extraction. The palate has noticeable alcohol that overpowers the fruit. Not balanced - finishes with very strong bitter tannin. Very astringent.

Opened and let breath for an hour. Opened up nicely, silky smooth, with a nice finish.

Big Washington cab with deep crimson color and nice nose. Well balanced, with smooth tannins and flavors of cherry, blackberry, hint of pepper and medium length finish. Very enjoyable with food.

Big fruit forward wine that to my palate tended towards red fruit although that could be influenced by the fact we had this with a Napa cab that was clearly dark fruit dominate. Found the finish a bit sharp, could use a decant prior to serving.

One of the more heavier oak'd WW cabs we have tasted. Tannins are still fairly strong with strong bramble and pepper flavors. Finish is long. This wine can still stand some time in cellar to hopefully mellow the tannins.

typicalo big fruity Washington cab. A bit of tanin, even after sitting in decantor over an hour, but drinking nicely. Cherry nose, blackberry taste.

Dense, jammy fruit with mildly tannic finish. Tasty and went well with a steak dinner. Could get better with another year or two in the bottle.

Did a PNP at a last minute dinner. It was not good right out of the gate. It wasn't until about 2 hours in that things got better but then the fruit disappeared. Don't know what to think. I'll try again tonight along with the remaining Indian wells cab

Very nice, peaking. Dense core of fruit that is no longer as sweet or alcoholic as it was on release. Not minerally or syrupy, just nice depth of fruit, with complex flavors that extend across the mid-palate. Could finish just a touch smoother, but help up nicely to steak. A fine effort, much superior to the Columbia Valley version.

K&S shared this bottle with us over dominoes. Very nice, very well-put together wine. Clean fruit, seamless transitions, longish finish. Impressive, and has given me a better appreciation for the producer. 91+ pts.

Deep ruby colour. Rich core of black cherry and plum with cinnamon, warm spice, tea leaves. Soft approach on palate, medium + bodied finishing with firm tannins, moderate acidity and rich cassis and plum fruit.

rich, big, juicy. Everything you expect out of a L'ecole. One of my favorites from Walla Walla.

Brought the bottle to a blind tasting (6 bottles) and this wine took last place! I will say it was one of the best line-up's we've every put together though. Regardless of the placing, this was an excellent wine. We drank it over 3-4 hours and the bottle continued to develop complexity throughout the night. This could cellar for a while. No specific flavor profile to highlight but it was a good well balanced wine with soft tannins and more …

alcohol scents when first pop'd.. decant for an hour, big fruit on the nose.. notes of berry and plum, also some spices that i can't recognize. smooth on the palate, but i also feel there's a lot of alcohol still.. very young but should develop well. Delish with some aged cheddar, salami, and table crackers..

Enjoyed the first bottle of my 4 cases of this wine for Abigail's 30th birthday. Very good stuff, glad i went big on my purchase. Big up front, medium full body, and nice finish--with everything flowing nicely together. Only nit at this point is there seems to be a bit of alcohol with the wine--something i'm sure will develop nicely as the wine rests. This should be a very fun wine to drink over the years, and is definitely enjoyable …

Very nice fruit with moderate oak. Lush, rich black and red fruits with smooth tannins yielding a supple texture. Earth and spice add to the complexity, with a finish lasting 15 sec.

Nice dark red inky color. Popped and poured in DC. Nose is all asian spice, plum and red fruit. Caught some black current and a mix of eath. Palette the same way. Nice secondary earth notes. Mushrooms, dirt. This is a really nice cab and beats any of the cali cabs at this price point by a mile. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves for tomorrow night.
