Deep garnet with some brick at the edges. Intense aromas. The legs are dark and staining the side of the glass. Very powerful nose. Dark cherries and licorice. Lots of acidity. Licorice and butterscotch and a peppery finish.

This is good wine. Weighty and age worthy. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Garnacha (per the label) comes in quite a bottle, heavy and thick which itself makes a statement. Despite good length and structure, to me this lacks complexity and personality. Not disappointing, but there are better PqR's out there.
