Excellent. Lovely nose, good finish, loads of fruits and so soft on the palette. Need more.

Drunk over two nights. First half was good however the transition over 24 hours for the remainder was stunning, particularly for a wine at this price point. Flavoursome and smooth. Very happy with the result.

First of the dozen for this vintage. As always a great Friday night, pizza with family and friends wine. Reliable.

Dark fruit on the nose, lots of cloves and roast coffee spicy with a meaty edge like bovril. Nice acidity, of freshness with spicy herbal medicinal edge to it. Roasted chestnuts in the finish. Really classic Barossa Shiraz, big spicy and a little porty but not jammy or soupy. Good value at £14z

One of the best value Shiraz around. Great full Barossa taste and shows qualities expected from more well regarded Shiraz If I can keep it long enough I’d like to see how this ages Will need to buy more

Pleasant fruit full raspberry, pepper on the palette, full body. Better in a couple of years .

Our bottle had turned. The drinking window is spot-on with this one. Unless you have superb cellaring conditions, if you are still hanging on to this you are probably just taking up space with it.

Dark purple. Sweet plum nose. Nicely mature flavors of sweet plum and dark berries with a hint of violets. Mellowed tannins and acidity for a medium finish. Drinking very nicely now; doubt this wine gets any better from here however. This was a good time to finish the final bottle in the cellar.

Big rich nose. Juicy, pretty rugged. A little sweet and the blackberries are bordering on jam.

Dark purple. Plum & sweetness on the nose. Flavors of dark juicy plum, blackberry, spices and tannin balanced with acidity. Nice with souvlaki and pizza at the neighborhood picnic.

robe très concentré, presque violacé. nez fruité à souhait, prune, mûres, alcool. bouche fruitée, de moyenne longueur, unidimensionnel, facile à boire. agréable. moderne. tanins bien policés, ronds et gras.

Mild nose, some fruitiness. Served with the L'Hivier (Copain) Syrah as a joint pairing with a beef stew recipe from Karen MacNeil. Less smokiness, more fruit on the nose and mid-palate and finish. Taste is jammy and well balanced with an interesting acidity, almost grapefruit in nature. Ok with the beef stew, but the L'Hiver (Copain) had a more interesting interaction with our beef stew.

Bizarre, and not in a good way. Quite unlike any other Barossa Shiraz - sweet, almost tropical flavours with an underlying smokiness. Awkward to say the least. Would assume some Viognier in the mix but no mention of this on the label.

Duften er dejlig med modne bær og cigarkasse. Smagen er meget velbalanceret igen med modne blommer og vanille samt fornuftig brug af eg. En super dejlig vin, der bestemt er drikke klar nu.

Overall good wine. Straightforward plum flavors .. not much on the nose. The tannins were a little strong especially as the night wore on.

Given the reputation as a VFM Aussie Shiraz this was very disappointing. Thin and one dimensional -barely improved with time.

Deep purple in colour this wine shows candied fruit, fruit cake, tar and molasses on the nose. The palate is rich and full, but well rounded. Dense fruit is followed by subtle spice. Good tannins and acidic balance. Very nice. The Qantas inflight guide to wine says: "Descriptors such as licorice, tar and old leather may seem derogatory, but wrapped around a generous core of rich, dark berry fruit, they give this wine character and interest. A sweet seasoning of …

A good Barossa Shiraz, not over the top fruit bomb, some nice subtle spice and cedar with blackberry flavours. A little pricey up here in Vancouver $24.99/btl. For the price better stuff to be had.

Blcakberry and some plum on the plate. This needed some time to decant, we opened and poured and got a nose of green pepper, once that blew off a nice wine as always. Should be better after another year in the bottle. Have never been disappointed with this wine.

Strawberries and cream nose. Palate showed some plum and a little structure as well, medium finish.

Colour dark brooding red. Nose of spicy plummy blackcurrant (would have picked this as McLaren Vale in a blind lineup. Juicy dark plum fruit with upfront sweetness. Spicy lightly charry oak underpins a nicely balanced wine. Sweetness is a little short, and overall the wine is not particularly long. Nice wine with a great nose, though disappointing length. Rating: Good/Very Good. QPR: Medium.

Tasted at Hunan restaurant in Medina. A "special" by the glass. I enjoyed it a great deal. Nicely done oak. A lot of fruit, moderate tannin. Seemed to open up as the glass sat and warmed. A bit of spice, plum, cherry, blackberry, chocolate, smoke. I'm very glad I ordered it.
