This is a wonderful wine but this time I left a bottle in my cellar far too long. Still expressive and pleasant but likely past it's optimal drinking window.

Served blind; garnet ruby core, good clarity; nose is sweet red and dark fruit spiked with green pepper, nice depth and texture on the palate, silky tannin, acid is a bit low for what I expect from Austrian red though this was sufficient, juicy, even a bit sappy; I called a young Chinon, really fruit forward and rich for Zweigelt; tasty.
