Wasn’t super excited years ago when I opened the first bottle. This one is tasting very nice. Red fruits and integrated tannins. A bit thin mid body but overall a pleasant wine. Solid improvement. Have two left and I will be drinking those in the next 12 - 24 months. Very good QPR given how this has aged.

Dougie comes to town (Chicago, IL) : A nice crunchy red Burgundy that shows quite true to the vintage with its fleshiness. Not much earthiness here. The palate's tannins are a bit angular, so a year or two might help that settle down. Decent entry-level red Burgundy.

purple ruby rim, moderate depth of color. on the nose very fruit forward with beautiful blue and red crunchy fruits… minimal new oak, some minerality. on the palate the wine has a lot of fresh acidity, broad mid palate, low to moderate tannins that are very fleshy. well balanced wine, ok length, great intensity, ok complexity. loved this wine… really excellent example of burgundy that is fruit driven, clean, fresh, and crunchy… if you like your burgundy more mushroomy, “dirty,” …

Very drinkable even at this young age, just give a bit of air and time before drinking. The bright acidity keeps it closed in for a while but then the dried red fruit flavors begin to show. It will be tough to hold off another couple of years. This will be great for everyday drinking. Fass Selection purchase.
