Pop and pour. A touch of reduction at first, but loads of strawberry and cranberry with a touch of earthy funk. On the palate, excellent acidity and density, with ripe strawberry and cherry. A touch of tannin on the clean finish. Pretty good.

Similar impressions to bottle from 12/1/17. A nice buy at $28.

Translucent ruby in the glass. Nose of tart cherries, baking spices and a hint of earth. Light on the palate with the spice component carrying a nicely balanced finish.

Pomegranate red to pink, shading clear at rim; attractive nose of freshly crushed raspberries with just a whiff of funk. On the palate, cherries, mushrooms, a hint of something wild: unmistakably Burgundy, with very ripe fruit, tannins turning silky, and juicy acidity present and correct. This is the last of a case: the wine has developed nicely over the past three years, and it's drinking very well now, over-delivering for such a humble classification.

Ruby/garnet color. Medium bodied. Nice acidity but with some viscosity in the mouth feel. Red and black cherry with a bit of currant and some earthiness on the nose. I liked this more than the last time I had it. Seems to be really coming into its own.

Terrible wine. BTW, visited them in Burgundy, it was like being at Mondavi...not recommended...

Light colour, pink at rim. Red summer berries nose. The palate is typical of the varietal being silky, with a little bit of the farmyard amongst the fruit. There's some grip there still, and a little more warmth than I expected. I think it would go for a few more years given the structure, perhaps the secondary flavours will develop further to make the wine a little more interesting.

Light ruby to rose to pink to clear. Wonderfully expressive raspberry nose with a hint of orange peel. Fresh, pristine with very good intensity and grip. This is all burgundy. The palate is very light – good purity, though seeming to hold back a bit. While I admire the flavor profile, I would like a bit more depth. This might open with a few years. I am a bit perplexed – the flavors are just great! (13.5+??)
