Drank well, starting to show age with complexity of bouquet. Still ruby and fruity. Yum.

Just OK, good, but a bit underwhelming. I would think from this producer 05 should be kickin', but it is just OK. Just pure pinot fruit right now. Clean, a little tiny bit of undergrowth, but fairly one dimensional. I liked his 04 Beaune which was kind of funky. And the last 02 I had did. 05? Maybe the pure fruit will evolve yet, dunno.
