Nice wine, though I wonder whether this is slightly past prime. Color was very light but a tinge of browning showed as it poured, and the fruit tasted a bit dried up. Great acid to cut through food, and enjoyable, but just missing a bit to take it to the next level.

Felt a bit more polished through the middle this time as opposed to my previous tasting. Retains a solid backbone of tannins and acidity. Should continue to improve with a bit more cellar time and I'll probably try my first from bottle in Summer 2018.

Score perhaps a little generous as I am a Finger Lakes resident. Light color and unmistakable fragrant Pinot Noir nose. Minor oak influence well integrated. A little short on the fruit. Good acidity provides focus. Good (perhaps slightly hot ) finish. Pleasant summer quaff.
