Domaine Michel Niellon Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos St. Jean Rouge

Two years after the prior, and looking at the previous note, this was quite similar, with only minimal development. Still, very enjoyable over three nights.

Medium light ruby. Mineral, savory, with suggestions of ground white pepper. Balanced and harmonious. Restrained and elegant — yet still friendly and somewhat generous. Very enjoyable over three nights.
