Served chilled mid 60s..mild red fruit on the nose…cotton candy and jammy to drink…limited tannins with a short finish….enjoyed for simple drinking wine while bbq some burgers…bought 3 bottles and that will probably be it.

Simply lovely. Not too heavy or tannic, so a lighter cab, but still full of flavor. Excellent for the money.

Nice weeknight Cab. Full-bodied, dark fruit- blackberry, black cherry. Moderate tannins. Good wine at sub-$30 price point.

Was hoping for a bit more complexity and it’s just not there. Open, ripe, quaffable. The Sonoma character is expressed as restraint and balance. It never quite reaches ‘interesting’ and the wine didn’t show much positive evolution in glass. First glass was the best, then began losing its freshness become flabby. Just okay. Missing complexity and in the end, balance. Not a re-buy for me. 89 on day 1, 88 on day 2 (Edited to combine 2 notes on same …

Dark blackberry on the nose gives way to sour cranberry and hints of white pepper. Flavors all mash together into a short, sloppy, unsatisfying finish with lingering bitter and sour tannins. Expert opinions note hints of fresh herb aromas with some chocolate and hazelnut. I do not sense any of these flavors. This dull and uninteresting wine is a poor value for its relatively high price.

Very promising with a wonderful nose, sweet blackberry and smoke. More fruit forward than I remember the last bottle. Smooth with lively tannins and a short finish. Nice, but not a stand out.

Solid cab. Med body/finish. Nose: oak, smoke, strawberry. Someone wrote: "powered tannins", a perfect description of what I recall of the bottle I enjoyed last year. A year later in 2014, they have evolved into lively spicy tannins. Perhaps significant bottle to bottle variability, as indicated by the mixed reviews? This bottle also has a sweeter fruit palette. But not overtly sweet. Disappointed recently by cabs costing 2x this, so good value.

A dusty, charcoal-rounded nose; spicy tones persisted. There was a presence of rock, grape and old barrels in the mouth. Somewhat oak-y. Not too sweet. Powdered tannins persisted, nearly cloying the experience. There was little balance, being a wine of high and low qualities without much in the mid-range. Skip it.

Caramel and raisins up front. Cranberry and tannins show up, and a fresh, almost minty finish sets in.

I was pleasantly surprised. A nice Cab with lots of life for the future. Coffee and Mocha along with a nice oak and a smooth tannic finish. Good balance

Dark purple-black in glass, intense aromas of black fruits with some smoke. Palate opens with explosive blackcurrant, black cherry and wild berries, framed in smoky oak, yet not overdone. Tannins are sweet and grippy, and finishes medium-long. Nice effort for a lower-priced Cabernet, and very enjoyable.

The wine looks Inky colored. The legs are super slow. It smells like Black Pepper and Oak. It has a hint of vanilla on the tongue. The body is Full. The wine has Satin-like texture. The wine finishes Medium. Very good. Would buy again.
