A fairly deep colour, with a hint of brown. Quite a full, sturdy wine, perhaps a bit rustic, with some tannin still. Lacks a little class. The back label said " Drink 2010 - 2015", but this may be better in a few years' time.

Not overly intense, but leather on the nose, and a touch of black currants and sticking plaster on the palate. Very pleasant but can get better for the money.

A little imbalanced. Heavy young tannins but low acidity - approaching flabby. Leave the rest for a few years yet.
