Surprisingly clean for the radioactive colour. 25 days on skins. The Winemaker's recreation of the wines of his Umbrian ancestors, made for the farm workers N: Pink grapefruit, orange rind and oil, citric freshness, rose water sweet background balances. P: Concentrated, but tight. Pithy orange, bruised pear, aromatic tones, dried flower phenolics. Present tannins, taught fruit character (I might say it feels a little under ripe...). Snappy acidity. Would be refreshing under the Italian summer sun.
