Sweet ripe juicy blackberry and plum fruit. A tad on the soft and jammy side but very pleasant. 86 points

Juicy rich and concentrated with flavours of plums and dark chocolate. It is vibrant with sweet ripe fruit and melting tannins, developing a satisfying ending. Very forward, balanced and drinkable, so no hidden surprises, but nonetheless offers a great deal of pleasure. CHP 88 pts

14% abv. Actually pretty decent. A bit fruity to start but an hour and this developed into something more interesting with some cherry, chocolate and smoky bonfire notes. Quite rich on the palate but not over heavy or stewed. Great value at £10 on discount. Still decent value at £17.

Acceptable

This is a complex, full-bodied and well-structured blend with intense aromas of cassis and raspberries complemented by spicy notes from aging in new oak casks. Awarded 90 points by Tim Atkin

Lots of dark fruit on the nose - blackberry, blackcurrant and dark cherry. Oak also. Medium+ tannins and acidity, with a long finish.
