Very drinkable. My first introduction to this varietal and while showing some characteristics of Pinot, it certainly stands on its own. Less fruit than CA or OR Pinot's, but well balanced. Not the most memorable but I would certainly try it again.

Brilliant Plum in color. This is my first Zweigelt, reminds me a lot of Pinot...On the nose, pretty heavy cedar note followed by geranium. On the palate, plum, spicy notes (clove, pepper) and medium acidity. Medium finish. Liked this one for it's uniqueness and good QPR. Will buy again.
