1 hour decant, 60 F. Thinking I should have served it a bit cooler. Ruby color, medium depth. Blackberries, blueberries, anise and a touch of heat on the nose. Lightly velvety tannins. Oak and alcohol still integrating. Lively acidity, perhaps starting to fade. Medium+ body. Dark fruits, dried oak, dried leather and a touch of lovely spice on a balanced palate. Long, lingering sweet blueberry finish. Still has time. Great QPR.
