Crown cap. Medium garnet colour. Quite expressive. Forest berries, cherry, dark chocolate, earthy notes, Black Forest ham, spices, and smoke, with playful acidity, mostly resolved tannin, and very good persistence. The light- to medium-bodied wine had average concentration, good typicity, and very good balance. By day two, the profile was more mature, but the wine was equally enjoyable. A likable and very drinkable Pinot Noir. Drink now and over the next three or four years.

Good demonstration of What Pinot Noir can do with age - still a very nice glass with obvious strawberry notes and darker notes of plum and hints of chocalate

Crown cap! It took me some time to figure out how to open this bottle and that a simple bottle opener would do the trick… The wine was medium ruby in colour and had an expressive nose of berries, maraschino cherry, forest aromas, Black Forest ham, chlorine and spices. On the palate, the wine showed red fruit, cherry, dark berries, Black Forest ham, mushroom, earthy notes and Pinot spice, with playful acidity, fully resolved tannin, a smooth and creamy mouthfeel …

Fermented spontaneously, vinified in stainless steel, bottled under a crown cap. 13% alcohol. Tasted blind. Luminous, translucent ruby red color. Very open, expressive and instantly recognizable nose that made me call German Spätburgunder with the first sniff. Very rough and peppery streak of Pinosity followed by notes of charred cranberries, sour cherries, some smoke, a little bit of roasted meat and a sweet hint of ripe strawberry. The wine is ripe, medium-bodied and robust yet not aggressive on the palate …
