Medium garnet. Intense nose, earthy, bay leaves, eucalyptus, coffee beans flavours. Medium body, some green tannins, strong flavours of coffee and herbs,then licorice, some faint red berries. Medium length. Past it’s peak, no need to wait longer.

Fragrant vanilla, bright and dry cassis and bell pepper with a touch of toasted thyme and tobacco in the undertones. The palate echoed the nose, dry, elegant and smooth. The acidity provides the backbone to this medium bodied wine, very much showing the traits of a cool climate Cabernet. The purity of Cabernet fruit is amazing, just lacking some degree of depth and complexity when compared to the best Cabernets (e.g. Yeringberg) in the Yarra Valley. Finish is clean with …
