This had a weird acetone note on the nose that blew off very slowly over an hour or so. Plate was somewhat tart, not as balanced or floral as I hoped for, but still a reasonably good drink given the age of this wine. Previous bottles were better.

Hot damn, this was good. Noce acidity but really gave the best of oak and malo. Notes of hazelnut and spice. Really delicious. In some ways reminiscent of Monte Bellow, though less intense. But a great way to drink white Burg that is accessible and lovely. Surely one to buy if a bit overpriced.

Chardonnay slide (Waterford Wines Milwaukee) : a bit of a darker presence on the nose with a dimension of earth. on the palate a bit more of an extracted quality. ben and paula call 'evergreen.'

White Burgundy (Waterford Wines Milwaukee) : quite a toast in the nose and showing an elegant brine. spearmint in the nose. The oak adds quite a bit of weight to this wine, displayed as a supple textural cream on the palate.

N. Wow...intriguing! Oak and spearmint. Stony yet again, which I love. P. Nose translates straight through into the palate. Great stuff! Notes: Beaune, Saint Aubin. Staff white burgundy tasting.
