Cantina dei 5 Sogni Nebbiolo d'Alba

Nose of cherries, smoke, forest floor, mushrooms and flowers. Palate has grip and great acidity. Textured dark cherries finishes fresh with roasted notes. Lifted but with some power.

On the first night it was quite tannic. Unusual for us to run into a tannic wine at this price point! Vacuumed and drank the rest a couple days later w pizza & salad. At this point tannins had mellowed considerably and it was well-balanced, still highly structured & quite delicious. Definitely would enjoy more of this!
