Erik's. Blackberry, tomato paste and rough tannins dominate. Needs more time but furute wow factor is definitely there.

2 hour double decant and this showed mineral drenched aromas of black cherry, violets, wet forest floor, leather and green olive, which unfolded into a fresh, dark fruited and earth driven palate that was threaded with a soft peppery vein.

Part of a Syrah tasting with my wine group, where 3 out of the 4 Syrahs were from Cornas. This was the group favorite.

Developing beautifully with a great balance of inky dark tarry fruit and earthy herbal garrigue / syrah characteristics

100 % Syrah from younger wines. Fermentation on concrete, aging in used oak. Quite dark purple hue, yet still some transparency. Lovely nose with aromas of meat, violet, lavender, black pepper, and dark berries. Also deep intensity on the palate with notes of plums and black olives. I will keep my other bottle until 2030.

Deep dark almost purple. Deep bouquet with pepper, lavender and roses, dark berries and hints of butcher shop. Slightly grippy tannins with black olives, plums and blackberries. Deep intensity. Very balanced and coherent. Keep for few more years and serve sligthly chilled.

Showed much better last time we tasted, 3 years ago. Solid all around but somewhat muted fruit. Perhaps lesser storage conditions prior to obtaining but both were stored in my cellar for a number of years. Some Northern Rhone connectedness. Evolved nicely over 2 hours, not profound. Curious to try the non-Renaissance and compare notes.

2015 N Rhone and Friends (Noizé) : Purple / garnet colour. On the nose - yes more violets, evidently it's a violet day, and a gentle balance to it. On the palate - this doesn't take itself too seriously, it's somewhat lighter, somewhat easier to drink and...zing - a slight thrill, like someone unexpectedly stroking your neck when you were daydreaming about something else. Of the 15s.

Très belle cuvée de Cornas, avec déjà beaucoup de plaisirs à l’ouverture mais ses tanins encore présents lui confèrent un potentiel de garde certain, 5 ans minimum dans une cave à 12° C.

Very good wine, but in my opinion strangely lacking North Rhône tipicity.

Good reviews here on site, including some I don't quite agree with. One thing I will note is that I am drinking this about 4 hours after opening and I was too lazy a c^*t to decant. The Japanese Jazz accountants are saying this makes me like someone who writes metal songs, with calligraphy pens in my pussy journal, in the dark, with eye liner on (a bit like JD Vance) and high on anti-depressants. Few go against the JJA …

Deep and dark, earthy with meaty flavors and olives and everything you would want a ‘15 Northern Rhone to deliver. Remarkably long and pleasant finish. Fun wine to enjoy with a dinner of darkly-flavored ancho chile short ribs cooked for hours.

Blackberry, black currant, stone and earth, salty licorice, leather, a hint of smoke. Lots of flavor but not a heavy wine at all, actually feels quite light in the mouth. Acidity in place, very fresh. Tannins are starting to soften a bit but there is still a pleasant bite. For Clape this is clean and fruity. Grows very much with air so make sure to give this at least a few hours to open up. Was best after around five …

Black berries and plum throughout with roasted meat and herbs de provence, this is just barely entering its peak drinking window. A powerful wine just showing balance, this will be a treat for a decade+ to come, with 91-92 point upside from here.

Decanted and served. A touch shy for a wine that all of us expected so much more ( especially for the price) and this is slowly for us becoming a similar situation with the second wines of Rayas (same with Clos des Papes Red, not the white to be clear) that have gone up in price but not really reflecting the level of the wine. This is not to be compared with his main wine. Soft yet also with good …

Rich and full bodied, with creme de mure, raspberry and plum flavors with a touch of game on the finish- made to drink earlier than the top release - but still this is a world class syrah on its on.

Still a little young but looks promising. Noticed some nice elements though little tame on the palette and nose. *4th night really opened up palette and nose. Very balanced with a nice fresh acidic line. Great bottle, recommend.

Brought to a tasting. PNP and tasted over several hours. Dark and rich. Good things going on here but suspect a few hours in a decanter would have done it justice.

Really liked this -- rich, deep color and fruit -- in line with but a bit more medium bodied vs. the "main" Cornas

Singapore Thursday evening, bought a case from Vinum here. No decant. Deep purple Color. Initially an alcoholic note, but after a minute or so smelling blueberries, dried cherries, mushroom, herbes de Provence, roses, dried meat, leather, slight touch of pepper. Med acidity, full body, high alcohol, Med+ flavor intensity, Med tannins, Med+ finish. Quite a warm mouth, blueberries, some green pepper, chewy tannins, nice salinity lingering for 15 sec+. Nose is a bit more complex than the mouth and certainly …
