Medium magenta. Boysenberry jam, mulled spice, and wet leather nose. Medium bodied, black cherries, pepper, fresh cranberries, fully integrated tannins, herbs, and a lengthy, earthy finish. Tasty and definitely not past its prime.

Opened for 45 minutes but did not decant. This wine remains in its prime, with nice rounded tannins and medium body. The layers of cherry and vanilla remain, this time from beginning to end.

Drinking very well now. Out of the bottle it is nice and round with good depth of flavor. Didn't last long enough to show evolution once open. The sangiovese is the star but the whole thing is really in balance

Did not decant. This full-bodied blend with rich fruit and acid is still drinking very well. Late-arriving cream vanilla layer on the nice finish.

Really excellent. Nice pairing with bbq or roasted beef. Silky texture & lots of cassis/plum/smooth tannin. I like it.

Decanted for 60-75 minutes. Impressive rich fruit and acidity with layer of vanilla and a touch of oak. Black cherry and more vanilla on the long finish. Really nice wine.
