- Garnet color. It's balanced and has flavours of raspberry and black currant with a light/medium body. Round texture with a medium finish - Good bottle of everyday Shiraz.

Consistent with my note from late 2011. Dark and brooding, this drinks more like a really good Crozes-Hermitage than an Aussie Shiraz. Rich, full-bodied and loaded with tart, tangy black currant and blackberry flavors. Notes of asphalt, olive and licorice add complexity to the satisfying finish. Phenomenal QPR at under $11. 50+5+11+15+8=89

Nice aromas of fruit and spice on the nose along with a tiny bit of heat. On the palate, this is rich and full-bodied, offering plenty of slighly tart currant and blackberry flavors with interesting hints of green olive, tar and leather. The finish is not particularly long, but satisfies. This is a completely different style than the prototypical flashy, sweet Aussie Shiraz and will not appeal to as wide an audience. A local liquor warehouse has these for $9 …

Dark plums and cherries on the nose. Plums and cherries on the palette, as well as some spice and some nice oak. A bit of chocolate on the finish, too. A very nice Shiraz.

Good. Dark to the rim. Black cherry on the nose and palate, with a touch of vegetation. A very enjoyable wine that paired well with braised short ribs. <Wow/Very Good/Good/Fair/Plonk>

Interesting nose with a ?eucaplitus quality - carries over on the palate which is medium bodied, smooth'ish tannins and a little woodsy/oaky finsih. Some berries in there upfront, but don't last. Not bad, solid rep for producer, and mid range price. Perhaps another year in bottle will make it a little more "delicious"?

Strong alcohol on the nose. Palate mostly heat with some mild fruit. Better with food than by itself.

Popped and poured, wild cherry in the nose, like wild cherry life savors, maybe a little vanilla and certainly some heat. The wild cherry continues on the palate, along with the vanilla and of course the heat. Simple, dijointed and harsh, may intergrate with a year or two of bottle age.

Same as before. Rough out of the bottle, but improved over several days after being refrigerated and vacu-vined

Paired well with homemade organic Moroccan lamb sausage. Dark fruit and vanilla on the nose. Nice smooth finish with a hint of spearmint. Enjoyed by all.

Popped and poured showed some spice with some gritty tannins on the finish. After 1-2 hrs, tannins are nearly gone and the fruit shines through. Solid food wine with mixed grill.

Drank this over the course of several days. First night, was so hot and disjointed it was difficult to drink. Smoothed out over several days (refrigerated and vacu-vined).

Not so fruity, tart with a musty smell and an almost dirty taste. When you try with cheddar it brings out a weird carmel apple flavor.

Medium red color. Flavors were somewhat short and thin. Basic shiraz flavors, not nearly as good as the Norman cab/shiraz blend
