Big bold fruit. On the verge of being a Zinfandel fruit bomb.

Best of the Best (Farpointe Cellar) : The nose had coffee, pepper, orange, and blackberry. The palate was soft, and had espresso, black currant, and jam.

Beautiful purple color in the glass. Nose of dark blueberries, dark skinned plums, oak, vanilla and cinnamon. Palate was dominated by dark fruits and vanilla with a long smooth finish. Great structure and mouthfeel. Alcohol was high but well controlled. I know I shouldnt like it bc of how oaked it was, but it was just well done. Definitely a crowd pleaser and a great QPR at $25.
