Château Fontanès Cabernet Sauvignon les traverses de Fontanes

This French Cabernet Sauvignon has from black fruit on the nose with a predominance of blueberry. More of the same in the month with blueberry, plum, and candied cherry. Very light tannins make this a great drink-me-now red for a causal weekday dinner.

Sunday Afternoon Languedoc (SF Wine Trading Company) : Purple center. Forward nose of herbs and licorice. Clean, bright, medium weight. Black more than red fruited, a good twist of acidity at the end. Excellent value, completely drinkable now.
