Stunningly good at 14 years old. The wine has become slightly honeyed with well-integrated flavors, with enough acid to avoid being at all cloying. The fruit is still present and the array of flavors presented is a joy. We enjoyed comparing this to Kurt Angerer's 2007 Spies Gruner. The Gruner had a slightly sharper acid profile and displayed less dimensionality, but was also a wonderful bottle.

PnP'd. Similar to prior notes. A little off-dry. Wonderful stone fruit and florals. Delightful wine with Asian chicken and salad wraps. Gassed half the bottle for another night.

Interesting wine. Started out closed, and one-dimensional. (The bottle was at 50 degrees F, so a little too cold.) As it warmed it took on much more depth. Some sweetness emerged which added another dimension. Once again, Alsatian wines work well with food. This time a pork shoulder, slow cooked, with sauerkraut. Delicious. Two weeks later(!). The remainder of the bottle, gassed, sat waiting for another suitable meal. Last night, we opened it, expecting it to have gone south. Noooo. …

Delightful wine. Slightly off-dry, well-balanced melon and stone fruits. Long finish. Excellent wine. We started this on the 16th, and today finished it on the 24th. It was still fine. Refrigerated and gassed. My experience is that Alsatian wines continue to improve and develop layers of complexity if given time. Yes, you miss some of the fresh fruitiness but the subtleties are so much better. Some of mine are 20 years old and still developing more honeyed layered flavors.

nice citrus and floral profile, with green apple showing through. sharp acids are refreshing and paired well with fish.

A few French Biodynamic Wines : Spicy floral aromas with peach and guava. Juicy peaches, nectarine, lemon zest, there’s a nice kick of mineral, quinine and green herb note. Complex, fresh, tasty.

With RS but still good stuff. Strangely broad and wild Jason says and I would agree. But I would also say that with the tough palate its the RS.

RS, a bit flat and a touch over priced. But hey.
