Only a Pinot Noir from the Ahr can combine such lightness with such fragrance and class in a difficult year; lovely crisp red fruit married to riper flavours (undergrowth, cheese rind, fish), slate, makes an attempt at roundness but finishes a bit dry. Good length.

Strawberry red; perfectly mature nose, light, fragrant, clean PN, fruits des bois, hint of terroir, complexity, smoothness; light and juicy, elegant, refined, slight light in the middle; delicious fruit on the finish, good length.
